How do recipients download files?

Each upload generates a secure link and a PIN. Recipients enter the PIN to access a signed download URL—no TransferITly account required.

Do links expire automatically?

Yes. Files are removed automatically based on the retention window selected for the transfer.

Can I revoke a shared link?

Pro accounts can revoke links or reset PINs at any time. Free accounts can reset a PIN once per file.

What file sizes are supported?

Free supports files up to 1 GB. Pro supports files up to 25 GB with multipart uploads for larger files.

Is TransferITly encrypted?

All transfers use TLS, and files are stored with server-side encryption in restricted storage.

Do recipients need an account?

No. Recipients only need the private download link and its PIN.
